For Ontario specialists who already outsource their OHIP billing.

Claims recovery

Rejections are the lowest-paid work in billing

A percentage of collections pays the same rate on a clean claim and on a stale-dated rejection, and the rejection takes many times the work. Backlogs build quietly in most practices that outsource. We review what has been written off, correct what your documentation supports, and resubmit.

  • Most rejection recovery engagements recover five to six figures.
  • 95% of rejected claims we take on in this program are processed by OHIP within just a few cycles, and are paid on approval.
  • No setup fee, no retainer, and you pay only a percentage of what is recovered.
  • Your billing service keeps your day-to-day claims. We only look at what was already written off.

Built for Ontario specialists who already work with a billing agent, a TPA, or an in-house biller. Get in touch and we reply within one business day with next steps for a free claims review to see if you will benefit from our service.

Physician perspective

Nobody thought anything was wrong

Dr Sanjay Acharya believed his claims were being corrected, and so did the biller he had worked with for years. On what the review actually turned up.

How the recovery review works

  1. 1. Intake. You share specialty and practice context, MCEDT, a sense of rejected or unpaid backlogs, and observations about the practice(s) so we understand how you work.
  2. 2. Review and recover. We identify correctable claims, resubmit where appropriate, document the work, and let you know when the recovery has been accepted by OHIP.
  3. 3. You get paid. No setup or service fees. We charge a percentage of what is successfully recovered, and you submit payment after it is received. You can decide afterward whether ongoing Claims Concierge is useful. No pressure or obligation to continue with us.

Prefer ongoing full-cycle billing instead?

Some practices want full-cycle billing and analytics after recovery. That path starts with a free OHIP billing review.
